This map was inspired by a post on the Mapperz blog. One day I hope to convert the tags on this map to clickable polygon areas of each borough.

Hey! There are more detections than crimes! - Sometimes it seems the police may have solved more crimes than have actually taken place. This is because the crimes that are detected in a month might be crimes from previous months.
